Horseback riding is an art form, a sport, and a skill all wrapped up into one. Whether you're interested in horseback riding in equestrian competition or riding the Western ranges, the basics of horse handling and riding are universal. Again, we teach the method (in order) of DownUnder Horsemanship* as the steps-by-steps are effective in any and all riding disciplines. JRs EQUINE SPA & RETREAT HAUL-IN PACKAGE ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING AN JRS EQUINE SPA & RETREAT MEMBER WITH ACCESS TO A WORLD-CLASS FACILITY!
We offer a limited number of haul-ins. All member horses are required to conform to our vaccination and horse health requirements. Members are expected to check our calendar for facility availability.

*** Please note that JRs Equine Spa & Retreat expects all boarders and haul-in riders to use the facility in a safe manner. It is expected that all facility users be considerate of all riders at all times and follow proper arena etiquette
***Rates: $20 per horse, $35 for 2 horses, $45 for 3 horses – RATES ARE BASED ON A PER RIDER BASIS
30 Day Arena Pass: $225.00 – VALID FOR ONE RIDER ONLY – MAXIMUM 2 HORSES
**Note - Any additional horses hauled in will be charged at the regular haul in rates**
Open arena times – Call to see availability.
Each session runs (3) three hours in length in the indoor arena, and longer in length outside the arena.
All riders must secure a reservation in advance of the session, and no “drop-ins” are permitted. All riders/horses must avoid arrival prior to their designated session and must vacate by its conclusion. If riders wish to bring horses early or leaves horses after their designated session times, they should notify JRs Staff when making a reservation for permission.
Each session is limited to a maximum of 10 horse/rider pairs. To request a ride reservation, call / text - the JRs Services Office at (417) 830-9174. A credit card is required to secure a reservation in advance; however, JRs will accept payment for the session itself on arrival to the Facility. Cash, checks and credit cards are welcome.
CANCEL A RIDE IN A SESSION To cancel a reservation, riders may call / text - the JRs Services Office at (417) 830-9174. Reservations canceled with fewer than 24-hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $10 per rider/horse pair.
In an effort to maintain the standard of quality, comfort for horse and rider and accessibility to this facility we ask that haul-in riders please adhere to the following JRs rules as well as the posted JRs Rules.
Haul-In Rules: NO SMOKING PERMITTED INSIDE ANY JRS BUILDINGS! Please use assigned smoking area.
All persons using/attending JRs Equine facilities shall obey any/all notices posted on the premises.
For Insurance purposes we cannot allow dogs in the arena or tie-up area at any time. All dogs must be on a leash at all time, and you must clean up after your dog.
All riders must sign the Liability Waiver and the Safety Equipment Waiver prior to entering the arena.
All haul-in riders are required to record their name, date and the time in/out on the “sign-in” sheet when entering the arena.
The “30 Day Arena Pass” is valid for one rider only, maximum 2 horses, any additional horses will be charged the regular haul in rate.
Clean up after your horse in the arena, tie up area and in the parking lot.
Do not tie horses to the panels.
If the arena is busy please leave additional horses loaded or tied to your trailer – tie up space is limited, please be considerate of others.
We ask that you do not turn on the arena lights unless absolutely necessary – if everyone can do their part to help keep the costs down we can afford to maintain reasonable haul-in rates.
Pick your horses feet prior to entering the arena – we would prefer not to have gravel, shavings and mud tracked into the arena – we all like to have good ground!
If you want to lunge your horse and there are already people using the arena please ask their permission prior to entering. Please stay to one corner and limit the amount of time spent lunging your horse.
No barrels, jumps or obstacles allowed in the arena unless given permission prior to use.
Only boarded horses are allowed in the main barn area.
The wash rack in the main barn is for boarder use only.
Children must be supervised at all times.
